Freshfields advises Sateri Holdings on US$591m asset disposal

International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised Sateri Holdings on the disposal of its viscose staple fiber business in mainland China.

Sateri Holdings is one of the world’s largest speciality cellulose producers.

The deal, which closed yesterday, saw the assets being disposed of for a total value of US$591m.

The Freshfields team was led by Hong Kong corporate partner Grace Huang.
