Accomplished Banking & Finance Lawyer Seong Soo Kim Joins Baker & McKenzie

Seong Soo Kim has joined Baker & McKenzie as a Partner, bolstering the Firm’s Banking & Finance and Korea practices in Hong Kong. Mr Kim has more than 16 years’ experience handling cross-border project financing matters and international securities transactions.

Mr. Kim has advised on a wide range of complex international transactions over the course of his career, representing Korean corporations and financial institutions in the financing of major power and infrastructure projects overseas, as well as capital markets transactions including initial public offerings and secondary fund raising activities.

Mr. Kim received his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 1990 and his LL.M. in Taxation and Banking Law from the Boston University Law School in 1991 and 1992, respectively. He is qualified and licenced as an attorney in New York.
