Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that it represented the placement agents in Ayala Land, Inc.’s (“Ayala Land”) US$326 million top-up placement. Ayala Land is the real-estate unit under Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corporation and is one of the country’s leading property developers.

The placement will fund Ayala Land’s capital expenditures and will be used towards capturing further real estate growth opportunities in the Philippines.

This landmark transaction marked the largest-ever overnight placement in the Philippines, and the largest by a real estate company in Southeast Asia since 2005.

The Paul Hastings team was led by partners Patricia Tan Openshaw,Steven Winegar and Neil Torpey with support from associates Joy Chenand Dane Johansen.
