Clifford Chance Boosts German Corporate/M&A Team

Clifford Chance today announced the hire of Markus Stephanblome, specialist for corporate law and listed companies transactions, to its Corporate team.

Markus is currently a partner at US law firm White & Case. He will join the Clifford Chance partnership in December and will be based in the firm’s Frankfurt office.

Markus Stephanblome is highly regarded as an experienced and versatile corporate lawyer and expert transaction counsel. He mainly advises on public takeovers, as well as private M&A and private equity transactions. He carries a strong reputation for his advice on stock corporation law and core corporate reorganisation matters. Before joining White & Case, Markus spent the first ten years of his career at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he advised on numerous transactions for listed companies.
