Burr & Forman LLP announces the continued expansion of its Fort Lauderdale office with the addition of Drew Demers as a partner in the firm’s Banking and Real Estate group and Frank Zincone as an associate in the Commercial Litigation practice. Both attorneys counsel national and regional banks in matters related to commercial real estate transactions and related litigation. Their arrival follows the addition of Mario Iglesias last month, and Laurence Litow earlier this year, furthering Burr & Forman’s commitment to bolstering its South Florida presence.

Drew works with national, regional and community banks and private equity clients on a variety of commercial real estate and asset-based lending matters. Drew’s financial services practice spans the life of the loan, including new loan origination, negotiation and documentation, addressing title and secured lending issues, troubled debt restructuring, loan workouts and related litigation, and representation of clients in real estate (REO) transactions and purchase and sale agreements. Drew’s broader litigation practice also includes representation of public and private companies in all manner of commercial contract disputes and issues arising under the Uniform Commercial Code. He is licensed to practice in both Florida and Ohio.
Drew earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
Frank represents national, regional and community banks, as well as mortgage servicers, in commercial litigation matters, including asset-based lending matters, loan workouts, restructuring, and foreclosures. In addition, Frank has experience representing small, mid-market, and national corporations in a wide range of business disputes, including claims of unfair competition under the Lanham Act. Prior to beginning his legal practice, he served as clerk in the Economic Crimes Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Fort Lauderdale and, later, as an intern to the Honorable Charlene Honeywell in the Middle District of Florida.
Frank earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
