Morgan Lewis Further Strengthens Award-Winning Texas Labor and Employment Team With Addition of Ann Marie Arcadi

Morgan Lewis enhances its strong bench of Texas lawyers representing companies in labor and employment matters with the addition of employment litigator Ann Marie Arcadi, who joins the firm as a partner in Dallas. Ms. Arcadi focuses on representing clients in the telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, retail, and energy sectors.

“Having Ann Marie join our Texas team underscores our commitment to our clients that we will be able to serve them wherever their labor and employment issues arise,” said Firm Chair Jami McKeon. “She brings a background of working with employers in numerous industries that are critical to the economy in Texas, and well beyond.”

Previously a partner in another global law firm, Ms. Arcadi counsels clients on US state and federal labor and employment laws, represents them before regulatory agencies, and assists them with internal investigations. She handles state and federal court litigation and arbitrations involving a variety of claims, including those under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

Her representations have also included litigation regarding breach of contract, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of confidentiality. The broad range of employers she assists also includes banking, financial, oil and gas, outsourcing and healthcare companies.

Ms. Arcadi joins a team Texas Lawyer magazine recently recognized as Texas Labor and Employment Litigation Department of the Year and Chambers and Partners ranked in Band 1 for Texas Labor & Employment in its USA guide.

“We are excited to welcome a trial lawyer with Ann Marie’s broad labor and employment litigation experience,” said Joseph J. Costello, who leads the firm’s labor and employment practice. “Ann Marie is fully committed to building a strong relationship with our clients, and she will be a great asset to our team.”
