Lewis Brisbois Welcomes Lindsay Nickle to Dallas Office

Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Lindsay Nickle to its Dallas office as a partner in the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice.

Nickle has a broad range of experience assisting clients on cybersecurity matters, including navigating state and federal laws governing data breach responses, developing and implementing risk management processes, and overseeing the investigation of data security events.

“We are excited to have Lindsay on our team,” said Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Practice Chair Sean Hoar. “She has substantial experience with data privacy and cybersecurity issues and will play a key role on our Rapid Response Team. Her experience managing data breach responses, combined with her background in complex business and financial transactions, makes her particularly effective working with executives and managing digital crises.”

Nickle regularly assists clients in drafting and refining their incident response plans and facilitates data security training and tabletop exercises. Her past clients include educational institutions, insurance companies, healthcare providers, accountants, retail merchants, hotels, restaurants, utilities, and government entities.

“I am excited to be joining an innovative and dynamic cyber team at a time when cybersecurity is a critical issue for virtually all individuals and businesses,” Nickle said.

In addition to her role advising clients on cybersecurity matters, Nickle is an experienced civil litigator who has represented financial institutions in fraud and identity theft matters related to financial accounts. She has successfully handled more than 100 bench and jury trials as well as more than 20 appeals.

“I’m excited to strengthen our Dallas office with the addition of one of the leading cybersecurity attorneys in the country. Lindsay’s presence will help us better assist clients in response to data breaches and cyber attacks and further establish Lewis Brisbois as a market leader in the Texas legal community,” said Dallas Managing Partner Chris White.
