Bell Nunnally Adds Two Attorneys

Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP has added William J. Garrison as a partner and Michael J. Kawalek as an associate. The firm continues to expand and now numbers 54 attorneys.

“The trust our clients place in us is directly related to the growth of the firm. We are excited to add Bill and Michael and are confident they will thrive in our collegial, client-driven culture,” said James Skochdopole, managing partner of Bell Nunnally.

Garrison joins the firm’s Litigation; Labor, Employment and Benefits; and Intellectual Property practice areas. Dual-licensed – in both California and Texas – he represents clients, ranging from individual shareholders to global corporations, in business litigation and routinely handles matters involving contracts, employment disputes, governance, intellectual property and ownership. Often serving in a general counsel role, Garrison works as a strategic day-to-day business partner, helping anticipate and resolve business issues before they detract from his clients’ core business.

Garrison is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers; the American Bar Association Litigation and Corporate Law Sections; the Dallas Bar Association Litigation and Intellectual Property Sections; and the San Diego Bar Association Litigation Section. He is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., 1998) and the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., 1992).

Kawalek joins the firm’s Intellectual Property and Litigation practice areas. His practice is focused on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property matters. Kawalek is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law (J.D., 2010) and Princeton University (A.B., 2006).
