Portland is a Great Place for Legal Professionals

A lot of attention is given to the most popular metro areas in the United States, but legal recruitment specialists know the intrinsic value of smaller urban cities that sometimes have more job opportunities than their larger counterparts. Portland is one of those communities – situated between San Francisco and Seattle, this green city offers great quality of life and fantastic employment opportunities.

The Portland Business Journal reported several former employees of Ball Janik LLP have recently come together to open a new real estate and land services firm, entitled Radler White Parks & Alexander LLP. The new company will base its operations out of Portland, and serve the greater metro area in commercial and residential equity, taxation and leasing, among other subjects. The team is already becoming known as one of the premier development advisory agencies in the region, even being compared to parent firm Ball Janik.

“We wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again or even refer clients to them,” said new partner Dina Alexander, according to the news source. “[We] have a shared vision and a shared set of values dedicated to offering the highest set of real estate and land-use services. We formed a boutique firm because it puts [us] in the best position to provide those services.”

Besides being host to legal moves like these, Portland is also a fantastic place to live. For example, the Wall Street Journal reported Portland has been ranked the number one city in the entire United States for cycling. Lawyers who commute to work will be treated to scenic bike paths and can enjoy riding with fellow enthusiasts.
