Paul Patrow Joins FaegreBD’s Tax and Corporate Teams in Chicago

Paul Patrow has joined Faegre Baker Daniels’ tax and corporate practices as a partner in Chicago.

Patrow advises business entities on tax strategies during business formation and transactions. He is experienced in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, private equity transactions, and domestic and international joint ventures.

He also represents private equity and hedge fund sponsors in connection with the formation and operation of investment funds and the acquisition and disposition of investments. Additionally, he advises venture capital investors on the tax implications of their investments in operating companies and counsels operating companies on their funding by venture capital and angel investors.

Patrow also assists with tax planning for domestic and international real estate investment transactions and with the tax aspects of bankruptcy and private workouts.

Patrow comes to FaegreBD from Thompson Coburn LLP. Previously, he was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, and his experience includes in-house work at a mutual life insurance company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota—Duluth, and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
