Kirkland & Ellis Adds Prominent Tax Lawyer in Chicago Office

Kirkland & Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Roger Lucas will join the Firm’s Chicago office as a partner in the Tax Practice Group on Oct. 3.

“Roger is a talented tax lawyer with a strong reputation for his work on private equity transactions,” said Jeffrey C. Mr. Lucas represents clients on business formations, complex transactions and financings, and executive compensation. He also assists private equity sponsors with the structuring of investments in their funds.

Mr. Lucas was most recently a partner in the tax practice at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago. He holds bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Michigan, and an LL.M in taxation from New York University School of Law.
