Greenberg Traurig Continues to Expand in Texas, Adds Three Attorneys in Austin and One in Dallas

Continuing its strategic growth in Texas, global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added Shareholders C. Mark Stratton and Craig A. Duewall as well as Associate Erik M. Weber to the Austin office’s Litigation Practice. The trio focuses on energy and commercial litigation matters and joined the firm from Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP. Additionally, Suchismita Pahi has joined the firm’s Dallas office as an associate in the Cybersecurity, Privacy and Crisis Management Practice.

Stratton is a trial attorney with broad experience in the areas of oil and gas, transportation, securities, construction, products liability, professional liability, and personal injury. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has tried more than 50 cases to verdict in both state and federal courts. He has tried cases in some of the most challenging jurisdictions in Texas. He has argued cases before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the 1st, 3rd, 9th, and 14th Courts of Appeals in Texas. Stratton also provides transactional advice to his oil and gas clients. His trial work in this area gives him a unique perspective when advising oil and gas clients on transactional issues.

Duewall focuses his practice on representing clients in cases involving oil and gas, securities fraud, construction, real estate, business and partnership disputes, and insurance coverage. He represents clients before Texas state district courts, Texas state appellate courts, federal district courts, federal appellate courts, arbitration tribunals, and certain administrative agencies.

Weber focuses his practice in energy and complex, commercial litigation. He is also represents clients in state and federal court, mediation, and arbitration.

Pahi focuses her practice on data privacy and security law. Pahi guides clients through data security incident evaluation and with regulatory compliance requests. She has collaborated with clients to resolve numerous data security incidents, ranging from phishing and ransomware to data theft and fraud.
