Cadwalader Snags a Partner Head from DLA Piper

Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft has snagged a big one from DLA Piper. Drew G.L. Chapman, head of DLA Piper’s alternative asset management group, is joining Cadwalader’s New York branch. Chapman will be in charge of his new firm’s hedge fund practice.

Bodman LLP Boosts Presence in Dallas

Denver based Bodman LLP has affiliated itself with Dallas firm Strong & Willcox LLP by way of two of its partners. Hogan Lovells’ First Steps

Lovells and Hogan & Hartson have announced that following the merger, the initial priority will be to expand the New York and London offices. The next reported goal is to develop a bank finance practice in the US, as opposed to its corporate driven finance group that Hogan has now.
